Any remaining hope that Neil Danns may have reconsidered leaving Palace and signing a new contract has effectively died with news that the big two in Scotland have expressed an interest in him.

Danns’ agent, Derek Green told the Express.

‘Neil is aware of the interest from Scotland and he wouldn’t dismiss the possibility if the offer was right for him. Rangers have the ability to offer Champions League football which appeals to any player with ambitions in the game.’

Green goes on to confirm that no contact has been made, it is simply interest at the moment so there is probably a big shout of talking his client up here, but if there was the remote possibility of him moving to Celtic or Rangers, you really cannot think we have much hope of changing his mind.
