Ben Watson pays tribute to his young Palace team-mates as he describes what life has been like at Selhurst Park since Neil Warnock took charge of the club.
‘Results have really picked up. We’ve had a good run. We’re unbeaten in eight games now. We want to keep that going on Saturday with three points.
‘It’s nice to go into Christmas with a good run under our belts. There are so many games at this time of year. You don`t want to go into them low on confidence. They come thick and fast. You can get punished if you don`t make the best of it. But we are going in full of confidence thinking we can beat anyone.
‘Someone else who deserves the plaudits is Clinton Morrison. He’s a goal machine at the moment. Just over a month ago he was stuck on 99 goals and the 100th just wouldn`t go in. He was unlucky – it would hit the post, or the keeper would save it. This month whatever he’s hit has gone in. Hopefully that can continue.’
