Owen Coyle has confirmed that Palace have turned down an offer from Bolton for Wilfried Zaha.

Speaking to the BBC the Bolton manager said.

‘I don’t think it is to the value that the Crystal Palace chairman wants. But it is an offer we felt was fair for where a very talented young player is at the moment. But it looks as if we are a way apart in terms of valuation.’

We can’t stop the offers coming in, but we can certainly ensure it’s a deal that benefits the club in the long term, failing that we keep a talented player.

Win, win.
