Reports in the press are suggesting that Blackburn Rovers are the latest club showing an interest in right back Nathaniel Clyne.

Sky Sports are already suggesting that Birmingham boss Alex McLeish will return in the summer with a new improved bid having had several rejected already, but this time round they ‘understand’ that Rovers’ Steve Kean may join the bidding having kept close tabs on the situation at Selhurst Park and our season so far.

Sky intimate that Clyne would be a replacement for Michel Salgado, and of course these rumours won’t disappear unless Clyne comments to a new deal at the club.

Unfortunately with Freedman already saying that contract talks for all players are on hold whilst we focus on our relegation battle, it doesn’t appear that the rumours will go away anytime soon.
