Dougie Freedman has praised Glenn Murray’s courage at taking the penalty against Millwall, despite missing the target.

Speaking to London24 the manager said.

‘Glenn showed a lot of courage to step up, it’s a Millwall game, it’s a derby and it’s 0-0. I thought he had a fantastic game today in terms of leading the line. He got into some wonderful positions, I know that he’s on the right path to score goals.’

Like all strikers, as long as he keeps getting into the positions the goals will come.
