Dougie Freedman has said Palace will stay calm in the derby against Millwall because there’s no point getting carried away and then not getting the result.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Freedman said we had more than enough quality to take all three points, but that we need to keep our emotions in check if we are to ensure the victory.

‘It’s about keeping your emotions at a controlled level, I think if we do that then we’ve got a very good chance of winning the game. In terms of how we play, I’m going to have to wait and see before making a decision, I want to make sure we’re in the game.’

Sounds like we’ll see a more gritty performance going off Dougie’s words. Makes more sense really because we need to be tight and start the game on the front foot.
