Dougie Freedman has admitted to making mistakes last year, and he’s determined to put them right this time round.

Speaking to yourlocalguardian Dougie explained that a lack of rotation ultimately cost us our end of season form after a bright start, and something Dougie will address.

‘Where I got it wrong last year is that I consistently played the same sort of team. In the last quarter of the season we had a lot of injuries and we slipped down the table. I need to be a little wiser in my selection. I made three or four changes to the team that beat Charlton for the match against Nottingham, so don’t be surprised if I change it again.’

Not only is Dougie admitting he’ll rotate to rest players, but also by giving other players a chance the competition elements should push the team that little bit further aswell, which can only be good in the long term.
