Dougie Freedman was again pleased with our overall performance levels against Peterborough.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC after the 1-0 victory Dougie said.

‘Peterborough are a good side and we found it difficult at times, but I felt that when they were on top we looked strong defensively and stuck at it. Once or twice they got through the ‘brick wall’ as I call it and Julian pops up with a couple of saves. In the end I thought it was one way traffic and I thought our attacking display in the second half merited the win.’

With no concerns of being dragged into an all familiar relegation battle, Dougie took the opportunity to discuss his philosophy and his desire to see us become an even more attacking sides.

‘Some people keep the ball and some people keep the result, that’s what we do, we keep the result. We’re still growing, we still have a long way to go but we’re certainly improving going forward. Maybe we can open up one or two teams going forward and open our defensive duties a little more. That’s a decision I will make.’
