Dougie Freedman has said he has no choice to consider today’s game against Millwall as two points dropped given how we played and the chances we had.
Speaking to Crystal Palace FC after today’s game at Selhurst Freedman knows we dominated the match in the second half and given the missed penalty aswell, we really should’ve taken all 3 points.
‘Overall I thought we deserved to win the game, in the second half we created a lot of opportunities. We didn’t take any of them but I felt we did enough and that’s the way it goes sometimes.’
Rather than focusing on Murray’s missed penalty, Dougie talked instead about us not being given another penalty.
‘It was a penalty, there’s no doubt about it. They were penalties, he’s got one of them right but it’s very difficult in live time. It was a penalty it’s just unfortunate we didn’t take it.’
One positive from today again though is keeping a clean sheet, five in a row at home now.
