Can Alan Pardew do any wrong? At the moment no! Four games and four wins as the goals continued to flow for Palace when we booked our place in the next round of the FA Cup with a win at former club Southampton on Saturday.

For a second game in succession we cam from behind to secure a three-two win – on this occasion it wasn’t two-nil, merely one-nil then two-one before we ran out on the right end of the five-goals with a three-two win at the St Mary’s Stadium.

Clearly both sides were taking this competition seriously as strong starting XI’s were named but it was Southampton got off to a great start when Pelle (9) opened the scoring but within minutes Chamakh (11) marked his return with a goal to make it one-nil.

It wasn’t long before Southampton were ahead again though as Dann (16) turned the ball into his own net to but again our response was swift with Sanogo (21) keeping his cool to score his first goal for us when put through by Zaha to make it two-two.

With half time approach Chamakh (39) struck again when he got through, rounded Forster and stroked home what proved to be the winner – Southampton pushed for an equaliser but couldn’t get this as we marched into round five.
