Ferguson – 9 Internationals And We Deserved It

Sir Alex of the Ferguson has apologised to United fans for the loss tonight and said he hopes we now reach the final.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the match it was clear Ferguson was less than happy with the showing from his team, as clearly despite his changes he believes that with NINE internationals in the squad they should have had enough to beat us.

‘I’m so disappointed. I have to apologise to my fans and all the players who weren’t playing. We never expected that. Nine internationals out there. So that that was a big disappointment.’

However, Ferguson did add that he hopes Palace can now go all the way and make the final.

‘I don’t want to be taking anything away from Crystal Palace because I wish them every success. I hope they get to the final. They’ve put in an effort and they deserve to get to the final. They worked so hard for that so well done to them. At the end of the day Palace deserved the result.’

I agree Sir Alex, and yes I can see how much you are smarting – it’s not even patronising because it’s true!
