Having been named initially in the Netherlands Under 21 squad for this months international break, Timothy Fosu-Mensah has now been promoted into the senior side.

The on loan Manchester United youngster goes into Dick Advocaat’s full squad from the U21s following an injury to Lyon defender Kenny Tete and he could now be in line to add to his senior cap following his debut in September against France.

The Dutch face friendly games against Scotland and Romania this month after they failed to qualify for the second successive major international tournament.

Under 18 midfielder Will Donkin has also been called up to the Chinese Taipei squad for the first time ahead of their Asian Cup qualifier against Turkmenistan on November 14.

The 16 year old has now linked up with the squad in Qatar for a training camp before they go into the game.
