Dougie Freedman has admitted he is looking into the foreign market in an effort to strengthen our squad for the coming season.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Dougie said he was looking to sign a further 3 or 4 players before the window closed, and he’s more than open to adding somebody from abroad if the deal makes sense.

‘We maybe need to bring in 3 or 4 and we are looking into the foreign market. There are a couple of players that excite me, there are 1 or 2 in the English leagues too, and hopefully, in the next couple of weeks we may have some good news.’

With Joel Ward and Aaron Martin (loan) already bolstering our ranks, it’ll be interesting to see who Freedman moves for as additions.
