Targeting A Hat-Trick

This hat-trick that the title speaks of is a hat-trick of players that Steve Parish is looking for Crystal Palace to secure the futures of beyond the end of the season.

Julian Speroni, Marouane Chamakh and Kagisho Dikgacoi will all be out of contract in June but the co-chairman has made it clear that he hopes to have all three tied down to new contracts when the season ends.

Until the season ends though no deals are being discussed as the focus is purely on finishing on a high.

In an exclusive to the South London Press Parish said: ‘We’re going to leave it until after the last game, let us focus on that, then we’ll start to go through it all.

‘Obviously I’m on record that Julian will be offered a contract. We’d like Marouane to stay.

‘And we’ve got to have a conversation with KG. He’s done ever so well for us and never lets us down. It’s very likely that we want to retain him and that he’ll be offered something as well.’

Cameron Jerome and Tom Ince’s loans also expire with Parish saying that ‘both have done well’ but as it stands Jerome is set to return to Stoke City and Ince will become a free agent at the end of his contract with Blackpool, but he’s very much sought after.

Ince remains someone that he says he would like to stay and knows that Tony Pulis has been ‘very impressed with him’ even though he hasn’t featured as much as he might have hoped he would at Selhurst Park.

Will Palace be able to secure the futures of some, or all, of these players?
