Morgan Gould has said that despite his curiosity, he hasn’t wanted to ask Dougie Freedman for feedback on his trial yet, preferring to keep his head down and work.

Speaking to kickoff Gould said.

‘I haven’t wanted to ask how it’s going because I just want to get my head down and work hard. I’m just going to wait until we are done with the next match and then I’ll see what the manager is thinking.’

Gould added that he enjoyed the Basingstoke match, but he believes the Wycombe friendly will be a much tougher test.

‘The match against Basingstoke was very competitive, it wasn’t too bad, obviously it was my first training game of the new season and I think I did pretty well. Wycombe will be a much bigger test.’

Morgan’s trial ends after the Wycombe game, so it will be his last chance to impress the gaffer.
