Ian Holloway has said he was pleased to see Palace return to full form against Brighton, even though some would say the sending off changed the game.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC Holloway said Gus Poyet would probably feel hard done by after the game today, but he was pleased with our own effort and determination during the game.

‘I’m glad I was in our dugout because Gus will be very disappointed with the way things went against his team. I have to say we earned that with the skill of the wide man. Yannick was on that so quickly, I’m sure Gus won’t argue about the sending off. What pleased me was what we did after, which was control the game. I’m delighted with the professionalism of my lads. We were ultra professional, even down to Glenn giving up the penalty for his hattrick because he’s missed one or two recently, I thought that summed it up for me.’

Taking the point against Hull and returning to winning ways in this game especially has been the perfect way to put the Leeds result behind us. Onwards and upwards again, and let’s hope this is the start of another run for us.

This was a great performace today.
Class oozed all over the pitch.

If we can keep ourselves in and around it and maintain our form then this season could well be a surprise! Long way to go yet though, but I doubt I’m alone in being hopeful.
