Ian Holloway has admitted that he would like to strengthen the depth of the squad in January, so we can have every chance of maintaining our league form.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser Holloway said he was still assessing the whole team, but he did want to introduce a touch more competition to certain areas of the pitch.

‘Hopefully I’ll know everybody by January and I’m learning more and more about them. I like what I’m seeing but to sustain this momentum and to keep building, we’ve got to get stronger. Jonny Williams coming back in the next couple of weeks will give me another option. At the moment, one or two of them are playing week in, week out, and they need pressure behind them. So that’s my job and I’d like to add a bit of me to that as well.’

Be interesting to see who Holloway moves for in January, will they be permanent deals or will he be looking for some short term experience on loan?
