Kagisho Dikgacoi did pick up a hamstring injury against Wycombe last Tuesday, but Dougie Freedman doesn’t believe it will keep him out for long.

Dikgacoi now joins Iversen, Moxey, Scannell, Hills, Speroni, Marrow and McCarthy on the sick bed, but Freedman has assured fans the injuries aren’t serious and he expects all of them – short of Lee Hills – to be fit for the start of the season.

‘KG had a slight tightening in his hamstring, not a tear, but we thought it best he came off. Paddy and Marrow could do something on Friday, they both could be in contention for some time at Crawley.’

Iversen is recovering from minor surgery on his ankle and should be back in training at the end of next week, whilst Scannell and Moxey are equally in contention for Crawley.

Mile Jedinak should be fit enough to play some part against Norwich.
