Mile Jedinak has said he doesn’t believe the departure of Dougie Freedman will impact on the team due to the quality we have.

Speaking to the London Evening Standard following the Barnsley game, Jedinak said of Dougie leaving.

‘We’ll support whoever comes in. Hopefully we can continue on this run and I think we can. It was only mentioned to us in the hotel just before the game but we’re professionals and it’s part of football. Collectively, we are very good as a unit and there is some credit due to him (Freedman) for that. It took tremendous character to bounce back from a tough start and he was a lot behind that. We wish him all the best.’

Jedinak also reserved praise for Lennie Lawrence and Curtis Fleming.

‘There was a good feel to our preparations under Lennie and Curtis, full credit to them. We’re not too sure what will happen next and we’re waiting here. But we had a game plan and executed it as well as we could. You can’t speculate on what might happen.’
