Dougie Freedman has said that Andre Moritz is a ‘small risk’ for Palace, but he has all the qualities to leave a big impression.

Speaking to the South London Press Freedman said of the 12 month signing.

‘He’s a bit of an unknown, we are taking a small risk, but I just saw raw talent. I’d been hearing good things from a contact about his trial at Glasgow Rangers, but he wasn’t playing any games. He trained with us for a few days and after one session I knew we had a player.’

Freedman adds he’s still a little unfit and obviously has to adjust to the pace of the league, but that we should see his best form over the coming months.
