Stuart O’Keefe has spoken about his experience in the recent Doncaster match.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC the youngster talked about the raft of changes the Palace side underwent following injuries, and also his experience of shifting positions and facing off against El Hadji Diouf.

‘It was a hard game, it was difficult obviously with two centre halves going off and we had to change a lot of personnel, but I felt we coped really well. We’re disappointed we didn’t come away with three points.’

As for El Hadji Diouf, he added.

‘When I first moved over there I had to get my bearings and obviously playing against him, he’s a season pro, but I thought I held my own and I did okay.’

It would certainly have been an experience for the lad, and one that can only aide him as he develops further.
