Palace Duo Get International Calls

Crystal Palace duo Luka Milivojevic and Alexander Sorloth will be on international duty in March’s break for their respective countries.

Midfielder Milivojevic takes his place in the Serbian international squad for their upcoming friendlies with Morocco and Nigeria this month.

He finds himself in the 24 man squad selected by coach Mladen Kostajic and they face Morocco in Turin at the Stadio Olympico on Friday March 23 before facing Nigeria four days later at Barnet’s Hive Stadium.

Sorloth finds himself in Norway gaffer Lars Lagerbeck’s thougts once again as he looks set to earn his first international caps following his January switch from FC Copenhagen.

Lagerbeck is clearly a fan as he’s quoted as saying.

‘It means a lot for a player to take that step and play in a big league. He took a big step in Denmark and has been playing in the Palace team.’

Norway failed to secure a place at the Russian based World Cup so are in a rebuild of their own and they face Australia on Friday March 23 in Oslo before heading to Albania four days later.
