Palace Grant Bolton Permission

Well this is a turn up for the books, I thought we’d dismiss it out of hand. Crystal Palace have granted Bolton the permission to approach Dougie Freedman over the manager’s position.

Surprised is not the word, but I doubt there is much to worry about. I hope.

Update –

This is what happens when you’re away from civilisation during the day. Apparently at midday Palace had declined permission according to the Croydon Advertiser, but with the change in statements this could be looking dodgy.

It’s reported that a very generous salary has been offered, and it’s believed that if terms are agreed Dougie would be planning on taking Lenny Lawrence and Curtis Fleming with him.

Will be very disappointed if anything like this happens, especially given our improvements under Freedman and his earlier words.
