Crystal Palace have handed a record Academy contract to 16 year old Reise Allassani.

The contract will come into force when he turns 17, and will see the youngster stay at the club for two and a half years.

A host of clubs have been chasing the England schoolboy international and the level of the contract shows how much potential Palace think the lad has.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC Academy Manager Gary Issott said.

‘It’s fantastic news for the club. He is a real success story and has been here since the age of 8. We are very proud of him and he is someone that we are hoping will go on and do great things for the club.’
