Steve Parish has said that Andy Dorman had his chances at Palace, but with it not working out it was best he moved on.

Speaking to the South London Press Parish explained.

‘It didn’t work out for him at Palace, I don’t think he can complain about the chances he had but unfortunately we moved on with the style we wanted and it doesn’t suit Andy.’

With the club unable to find any takers during the transfer window for the player, Parish added that mutually terminating his final months at Palace, would make it easier for him to find a new home.

‘At this stage of his career it’s better to be honest that he is not going to play and he can find himself a better opportunity. That’s what we did, and he agreed.’
