Dougie Freedman has told the press that Antonio Pedroza’s future is in his own hands this summer.

Speaking to the South London Press Freedman explained that he didn’t settle too well at the club initially – which was known – and although he perked up a bit once he started to get some game time, the feelings of homesickness might be enough for him not to return next season.

‘He is good enough but if the kid is not happy I’m not going to force him. The ball is in his court, I’ve left it with him. Antonio is only 20 and has got some good touches but the big question is, can he settle?’

Freedman adds that if he does come back the club would be looking to loan him out so he can get some good pitch time to help keep him happy.
