Work to create a faster playing surface for Dougie Freedman next campaign has begun this week.

The club have announced that they are spending £80,000 on the pitch, which is 3 times the normal off season expenditure, and it’s all so Dougie can get the type of pitch he wants.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC Mark Perrin, our head groundsman said.

‘We will be working hard to give Dougie a faster playing surface for next season. We have longer this summer to prepare the pitch and I am confident there will be a big improvement.’
