Derby boss Nigel Clough has expressed his surprise at Palace being near the bottom of the table, as he describes Selhurst as one of the toughest grounds to visit.

In an interview carried on the Derby website Clough admits he hopes it’s third time lucky after suffering successive 1-0 losses, but he knows it’ll be a tough task.

‘Selhurst is traditionally a hard place to go and get a result. It’s surprising Palace are down near the bottom when you see their home form and the players they have, but it just shows how unpredictable the Championship is.’

It’s going to be a tough game, but our home form should be enough to see us take all 3 points. Dougie is right in saying it’s a game we should view as winnable and as long as we go into it with the right mentality, you’d be hard pushed to bet against us.
