JULIAN Speroni has admitted it would be hard to resist Premier League interest this summer.

The Palace stopper says he is very happy at Selhurst Park – but knows that Premier football would boost his hopes of breaking into the Argentine national squad.

Speroni told the Croydon Advertiser: “My ideal future is to be promoted with Palace – I`ve been here five years now and I would love to stay. But I`m desperate to get that promotion because it would probably open the door in terms of recognition for the national team.

“I can`t lie – if an opportunity arose for me I would have to see the situation. And if it was good I would have to take it. But I`m not very concerned about that – I know people are talking about different clubs watching me but I`m not worried about it.’
