Ian Holloway has called on the team to start a new unbeaten run following our unfortunate result today, and he has more than enough faith that we can do so.
Speaking to Crystal Palace FC following the defeat to Leeds today, Holloway admitted he was disappointed as he believes we deserved a point from the game, but he knows the lads have the character to bounce back in our upcoming games.
‘I think my team did our supporters proud, even at the end we carried on pushing forward and threw everything at them. I thought we deserved at least a point but football isn’t fair. Now we’ll move on to another game at Hull, I’d like to smash up that computer that comes up with the fixtures, and then we have Brighton; it’s wonderful this league isn’t it? What we have to do now is start another run, it was absolutely magnificent to go 14 unbeaten.’
Well this is the time to show the character within the squad and bounce back as soon as we can. Yes it’s disappointing to lose that run, but we proved we could do it once, so there’s no real reason why we can’t do it again.
