Eagles Defender Darren ward has today signed for Wolves for an undisclosed fee.

Ward has agreed a three year contract, and hopes Mick McArthy’s side will give him more opptunity’s for regular first team football.

The 28 year old passed his medical which finalised the deal and leaves with best wishes to everyone at selhurst park.

Ward joined Palace from local rivals Millwall in the summer of 2005 and made a total of 69 appearances for the club.

I along with many other Palace fans wish him all the luck for the future and hope he settles in to regular first team football.

quite clearly too good to be a Palace player, he should have stayed at the Den along with Ifill (whom Palace have also ruined!) and Lawrence
