Palace managed a 1-1 draw in blustery conditions at home to Sheffield Wednesday.
Wednesday went into a seventh minute lead after Leon Clarke slotted Sean McAllister’s cross from the right into the bottom corner.
Palace levelled matters with a Ben Watson penalty – his fourth goal of the season. Shefi Kuqi was fouled by Mark Beevers in the 54th minute and Watson cooly put away the spot-kick.
