Watson told to leave Palace

Ben Watson has been told he will not play for Crystal Palace again after refusing a new contract.

QPR, Birmingham, and Forest are all chasing the 23-year-old, but none have met the club’s valuation.


Palace boss Neil Warnock says Watson will not kick another ball for Palace.

He told The SLP: ‘Ben`s not in my plans. He`s made it clear he wasn`t going to sign a new contract and that`s why we went out and signed Nick Carle. He won`t be involved.’
