Palace got back to winning ways at West Ham but it was a mixed day for Murray, with him given a start by Pardew at Upton Park in our three-one win – he scored twice but also saw red…. In the context of the game it mattered not as the game was already won at that stage but for him, and us, it’ll now be a blow that he serves a suspension!

You sometimes wonder how different a game would be if ‘this or that’ happened, fortunately for us Noble’s 20-yard freekick, which would have given West Ham an early lead, hit the bar after.

The with half time approaching we took the lead!

Puncheon’s corner was met by the head of Murray (41) who managed to beat West Ham ‘keeper Adrian and covering defender Cresswell to give us a half time lead. One became tow when Dann (51) was able to head home another Puncheon corner minutes into the second half.

Murray (63) made sure of the points just past the hour when he headed home again, yes, that’s right another Puncheon set piece, this time a freekick but he couldn’t complete his hat-trick as he saw red late on and will now miss a chance to stake his claim for a regular place, which only came his way due to injuries to others….

West Ham got won back through Valencia’s (76) striker with debutant Nene hitting the post as the hosts threatened to fightback but we got the job done!

Following this game, as is customary of course, attention now turns to the MotM for us – who you think this was?

Select the name that you want from the list in the poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking for that person, and this latest game itself, with some views….
