Dougie Freedman has revealed that he’s received a number of phone calls from other clubs for some of our talented youngsters, but as of yet no offers.

Speaking to Newshopper Dougie said that whilst no enquiries or ‘general chats’ have yet become official bids or offers, he will be surprised if the club don’t receive one or two at least by the close of the window – not that he would be upset if that didn’t happen.

‘I have had managers call me up and ask me about my young players but they’ve just been a general chat, no bids have come in but I would be shocked if something didn’t happen. But I would gladly walk away with nothing happening with outgoings.’

Freedman obviously does not elaborate on which players have been the subject of conversations, but it’s not too much of a stretch to think of those taking the headlines.
