Wilfried Zaha returned to the Crystal Palace training pitch today as he continues to build his fitness following his knee injury.
The 24 year old sustained the knee problem in the three nil defeat to newly promoted Huddersfield Town on the opening day of the 2017/18 campaign and he’s remained out since.
With the October international break in full flow, he has now returned to the training pitch as he builds up his fitness following earlier rehabilitation work.

Having lost our opening seven games of the Premier League campaign, conceding 17 goals in the process, Palace sit bottom of the Premier League table already five points from safety but with attacking issues owing to Christian Benteke’s injury, Zaha’s return would be an incredibly welcome option for Roy Hodgson moving forward.
Hodgson of course knows what Zaha is capable of having given him his England bow back in November 2012 – now we find out if the international break is enough to bring him into contention for Chelsea when football returns.
