Wilfried Zaha has been shortlisted in the npower Football League Young Player of the Year category at the Football League Awards 2012.
Blimey that’s a mouthful!
It’s a thoroughly deserved nomination for his progress this season which the football world at large has watched, let alone the Eagles faithful – we all know the interest from the Premiership, he’s also earnt the chance to represent England at U21 level, and the sky really does seem the limit for the youngster.
Good luck Wilf – he has to be the standout option from Lewis Dunk (Brighton) and Matt Phillips (Blackpool).
