Manager Alan Pardew has praised the Crystal Palace side for giving everything they had in the game against Swansea City yesterday.
With back to back draws following the Boxing Day Bournemouth encounter, Pardew was rueful of the chances wasted in the game at Selhurst Park against the Swans, but he knew they had made it incredibly difficult to break them down – so he just had to be satisfied with the effort and determination of the team when going for the winner – whilst also keeping it tight at the back to pick up another clean sheet for the season.
With a more clinical edge in the final third it would’ve been another three points for the side, but when you have ten chances and only two test the keeper you are largely going to struggle to win.
