Rumours claim Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha, often linked with a move to Tottenham, could end up with Spurs’ north London rivals Arsenal?
It’s been reported by the Sun, via the Daily Star, Arsenal could step up their interest in Zaha at a time when Spurs’ is cooling? The Gunners will look to tempt Palace into offloading the winger by offering Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Carl Jenkinson in a swap-deal.
Oxlade-Chamberlain is about to move into the final 12 months of his Arsenal contract, a contract they apparently want to extend, but he’s also been linked with various Premier League clubs. Whereas a deal couldn’t be agreed with the out of favour Jenkinson, a player Sam Allardyce had on loan when at West Ham, in January to bring him to Selhurst Park.
Few, I would suggest, well Zaha has performed for Palace this season, would say no to the prospect of these England internationals coming to Selhurst if possible, but I can’t see it happening myself.
Alternatively it was claimed Arsenal could offer up a straight cash deal of £30m for the Ivorian?
