De Boer Targeting Arsenal Defender?

It was being reported yesterday that Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer was interested in doing a deal for Arsenal defender Calum Chambers.

Sky Sports reported that we were interested in the 22 year old and that he’d be available for around the £20million mark.

Chambers is not with Arsenal on their tour of Australia and China owing to his England Under 21 action at the European Championships over the summer and he remains on holiday at this time, but having signed from Southampton for £16million back in the summer of 2014 he has only made 38 starting appearances for Arsene Wenger, with a further 21 showings from the bench.

Last season he took in 26 games for Middlesbrough on a loan spell.

Ajax defender Jairo Riedewald continues to be spoken about as being on the verge of a move to Palace.
