Crystal Palace have been handed a boost after the Football League lifted the transfer embargo on the club.

The Eagles were hit with the embargo over a financial dispute, but those issues have been settled meaning Warnock can dip into the transfer market ahead of next week’s deadline.

‘The embargo has been lifted so I’m trying hard to bring in one or two new faces,’ Warnock told the South London Press.

Warnock will now tie up deals for Derby defender Claude Davis(work permit on Friday) and former Millwall winger Ryan Smith.
