Keith Millen has said Palace will consider a face mask for Mile Jedinak after his injury last night, although thankfully there is no major damage.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser after Jedinak’s clash with Allan Lee at the end of the game, Millen said.

‘He’s ok, although it was a bad one. He went straight to hospital after the game and they looked at him and have him the all clear thankfully. Structurally there is no damage and the main thing is that his eye has been tested and nothing is wrong. The main problem now is the swelling because it’s keeping his eye closed.’

Millen adds they will think carefully before deciding whether to keep him in contention for the Charlton game, and admitted a decision will be taken at the same time as whether he will use a protective face mask if he does play a part.

In other injury news, Millen added that Andre Moritz does have some slight damage to his ankle, but they’ll conduct some tests on him on Friday before making their mind up as to whether he’ll figure in the Charlton game also.
