We are no longer managerless, Ian Holloway joins Crystal Palace.

Palace confirmed today that Ian Holloway has joined Palace on a four and a half year deal and he has brought in Keith Millen as assistant manager.

The 49 year old is at the game currently to further familiarise himself with our players before taking his first training session.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC Holloway said.

‘This is a fantastic opportunity for myself and a fresh start. It’s sad to leave Blackpool as my time there was the best trip I have been on and I leave very proud of what was achieved, I wish them all the best. I just see this as too good an opportunity to turn down. I got great energy when I met the club’s owners and just can’t wit to get going. I am bringing in Keith Millen as my assistant who is a Croydon boy and he is as excited as I am about the opportunity.’

Just got to rally behind everyone now, allow him to get settled and hopefully he’ll continue with this style that suits us, and maybe if not this season, his experiences of promotions at Blackpool can rub off on us in time.

Welcome to the club Ian.
