Ian Holloway admitted he had mixed emotions following today’s draw with Bolton.

Speaking to Crystal Palace FC our gaffer said following the game.

‘All it needed was one good shot, I was delighted with everything else. I thought we started a bit slow like my car did this morning but I think that was the two new lads just getting used to it. I find it hard to believe we haven’t won the game, but that’s the way things have been going. They’re all disappointed in there because we want to stay with the top team in the division and believe we can go up automatically. I’ve told them how proud I am of them and their efforts.’

Holloway also had praise for the club staff for ensuring the game took place despite the weather.

‘This game is on today through Palace spirit. When I looked at it last night I thought how on earth are we going to play with no undersoil heating but I’ve just got to thank the groundstaff. It’s just a monumental effort, a brilliant crowd who showed Dougie respect which is exactly what I wanted.’
