Skipper Mile Jedinak has praised the strength of Wilfried Zaha after firing us into the Play Off Final.
Speaking to News Shopper Jedinak said that the departure of Alex Ferguson from Manchester United would have been playing hugely on Wilf’s mind because it would have left him uncertain about the role he’d play when he moves on in the summer, but thankfully Wilf had blocked all that out and remained fully focused on Palace’s battle.
‘Wilfried has been fully focused at this club, he doesn’t ever talk about Man Utd. We might joke around with him every so often, but the kid’s head is on. When it’s game time he’s ready to roll. He’s doing his part and enjoying the moment, I’m glad we’ve got him for the next game because he has got a huge future ahead of him.’
Jedinak also had praise for the fans and the rest of the team, finishing by saying.
‘I thought our fans were brilliant as well and I couldn’t have been more proud of the lads for the way they stood up and were counted.’
