Simon Jordan says he still hasn’t found a buyer for Crystal Palace but is brimming with confidence that Palace can achieve promotion to the Premier League this season.

In an interview with the official Crystal Palace website, the Eagles chairman has revealed: ‘I think this team is capable of going anywhere in this league and beating anyone.’

Having announced last summer he was looking to sell the club, the 41-year-old is still searching for the right people to take over the helm.

‘I have got a lot of tyre kickers,’ he said.

‘People that I don’t think are the right people for the club.

‘If the right person comes along then that situation will take care of itself.

‘Right here and now all I am interesting in is making sure that Palace, while under my tutorship and my stewardship, do the best that they can do and that means being at the top of the league trying to get out of this division.
