In an EGM held at Leicester’s King Power Stadium earlier this week, the Football League have reduced league substitutes to five again.
Teams will still be able to select seven subs for Cup games, five in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, but the decision was taken in an effort to ease the financial burden on clubs as you move down the leagues.
