Palace’s 2014/15 seasons preparations were dealt a major blow on Thursday when Tony Pulis departed.

‘Crisis talks’ between Steve Parish and Pulis resulted in his departure, which wasn’t actually officially confirmed until a brief statement was put out this morning, with the search for a new boss now on….

The early favourite is former Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay.

Iain Moody, now the sporting director at Palace of course, worked with Mackay at Cardiff, and Watford before this, so the pair could be united at Selhurst Park if the ‘bookies’ favourite ends us getting the gig.

No doubt countless names will be linked with the post, we’ll know who this really will be soon enough but who would you like to replace Tony?
