Moritz – Most Awkward Game Of My Life

Andre Moritz has said he’s never known a game like ours against Ipswich because he feels we dominated them even when they were 3-0 up.

Speaking to the Croydon Advertiser the midfielder explained.

‘It had to be the most awkward game I’ve played in my life. For me, we were dominating the whole time, even when they were 3-0 up. We all take responsibility for personal mistakes because it’s not just one person. We’re still in a good position and we can still do the play offs, I still believe we can make the Premier League.’

Moritz says that the Leicester game is now massive for Palace as with Bolton and Forest still in the hunt, we can’t allow them to leapfrog us into the last play off spot.

‘We need three points, and probably if we win, we’ll confirm our place in the play offs. Leicester is a big game now.’

Hard not to let your head drop with how comfortable we appeared only a few weeks ago until the wheels came off results, but it is still in our hands and the players simply have to make it count.

No chance of Kevin Phillips getting his wish to go up automatically now though.
