This isn’t something that will go away is it? Glenn Murray continues to be linked with a Crystal Palace exit, however any move away from the club would have to be on a permanent basis and not a loan capacity if the understanding from Sky Sports is correct?

Reading took Murray on loan last season with the former Brighton striker constantly linked with a move back to the coast at Premier League new boys AFC Bournemouth.

An offer, ahead of the season, was reportedly made by Bournemouth for the 31-year-old but this didn’t met the Palace asking price with rumours suggesting that Eddie Howe’s side would be more willing to do a loan deal, which Palace aren’t going to entertain?

Murray had a great impact under Alan Pardew last season when returning from his loan with Reading scoring seven-goals in 17 Premier League appearances and is a huge favourite with the Eagles fans, we wouldn’t want to lose him but the likelihood is someone in that forward line needs to go, will this be the big man?

Further reports following on from the Sky Sports ones have seen the Mirror claim Murray’s now ‘thinking over’ a move to Dean Court….
